Well, seeing as Jill and Nolan still have the kids, today was fairly light on the parental spectrum. She convinced me to let them stay through tomorrow seeing as they will get a chance to go out to Canyonview for part of the day with the kids from Morningstar. After church I did get another bike ride in, this time up at Opal Creek. When we hiked in last month we only made it about 2/3 of the way in and didn't get to see everything that we wanted to. It was hot, but the scenery was well worth the effort. See the pictures below for a taste of it. Brownie did excellent again while on her own in the house. She did piddle on my shoe when I got home. It's all good. One last thing...I have now finished the Lord of the Ring trilogy since Thursday night. Anna doesn't like those movies much.

Brownie loves you! She must have been so excited to see you:) I'm sure she wonders what happened to everyone! More gorgeous photos! Gotta love Oregon.
Those are beautiful pictures! We'll have to check out Opal Creek sometime. I saw pics of the kids on the slip and slide on Jill's FB and it looks like they were having a great time! And hey, at least Brownie isn't a puppy...she could have done a lot more damage than eating a poopy diaper and a little piddle. :) Sounds like your surviving ok...
I'm catching up on your blogs, Dan. Great pictures of where you've been!
