Well, day one is in the books. The kids are in bed and Brownie is curled up on Micah's sleeping bag that is still on the living room floor after a "camping trip". I'll try to post something at the end of each day so that everyone can see that the kids are alive, nourished, and clothed.
Highlights of the day:
-A morning trip to the water park "where you push the buttons" (Wes Bennett Park)
-Brownie ate Cami's poopy diaper from this morning...I'm not kidding. She stole the plastic bag that I had put it in and headed for the back yard. I found her having already chewed through the plastic bag and nose deep in the yummy goodness. I think she was interested in the half-digested grapes...
-A feeble attempt by Dad to make Cami's hair look cute. I failed. I gave up. and she was left with a mulletish hairdo
-Swimming in the backyard in the afternoon with Brownie. Which led to Brownie getting a bath after she decided to roll in the dirt after getting out of the pool
-BBQ pork chops with applesauce and rice pilaf for dinner
-A special viewing of "Over the Hedge" (skipping past the bear part at the beginning)
-Bedtime routine
-Silence (ahhhh...)

Great job, Dan! I wondered about Cami's ponies :) So sad to see her looking out the window for mommy. That will warm Anna's heart:) Thanks for posting!
