We decided to do a little exploring today; specifically at Opal Creek in the Willamette National Forest (Thanks, Pipers, for telling us about it!). The weather was perfect, the kids had great attitudes, and the scenery was incredible. We didn't make it all the way to Opal Creek itself, but we stopped off at a bridge over the Little North Santiam River so the kids could splash around in the water, and on the way back Dan was able to take some pictures of Sawmill Falls. It was almost 5 miles of hiking total...and Josiah made it the whole way! As you will see, Micah and Cami had some help along the way.
Moving along at a steady pace.

Such cute pics of the kids and beautiful scenery pics. I've never been up that way either, although haven't you heard of it from Uncle Russ, because he's told us he's been hiking to Opal Creek before... :)
What a great adventure!!!! Looks like a super time had by all. Cutest kids!
Looks like sooo much fun! Maybe we should go up there, although I'm pretty sure I would die hiking while being pregnant! I LOVE the picture of you and Cami! So sweet!
