We were able to get into the doctor this afternoon and Josiah got a green light saber cast. It has to be on for only three weeks...better than what we had originally been told. Also, the break isn't as bad as the first doctor had indicated. There is no danger of the growth plate being affected. Here are some pictures from this afternoon. He was very tired and refused to talk to the people putting the cast on. They did get a small smile out of him, but that was it.

Did the book help in how he felt about the whole thing? He was so cute holding tight to that the whole time. I'm glad that it won't be to long that he has to be in that cast. Good luck with the weeks ahead as you try to keep him off of it.
