Monday morning we had a very busy day...around 10 we took off to go see Auntie Jill down in Albany as she was going to help me make the boys' R2D2 costumes...so when we got there it was getting close to lunch so we stopped and got some lunch after picked up Jill, then took Uncle Nolan lunch at work, then went back to their house to eat lunch and work on the costumes. I was hoping the kids would sleep there but Micah and Cami had slept some in the car so no such luck. But they did quite well! I am so used to having them home during naptime. So here is Auntie Jill working on drawing what R2D2 looks like on poster board...she's is much more artistic than I am...I'm so thankful she was able to help me! I colored in the blue areas !:)

The boys in their preview shot of what their costumes will look like...they will also have something on their heads...but you will have to wait to see the final look!

the boys are so excited to be R2D2...thanks Auntie Jill for all your help and for finding the picture for the idea for the costume! We had fun spending the morning/afternoon with you!

After we left Auntie Jill's we headed a few miles away to go visit my grandparents who live in a retirement home...we don't see them too often and barely ever go visit them at their house so it was a nice treat to go see them! I think their great grandparents enjoyed it too! They got to have chocolate milk and cookies there...and play with some fun toys! The kids were super good and cute with them...Josiah told them about Star Wars and showed them pictures of it in the Toys R' Us catalog they had got in the paper!
Here is my grandpa Willard and Micah man! Micah is stuffing a cookie in his mouth! :)

Grandma Mae, Cambria and Josiah (with a neck pillow on his head! ) Grandma was singing to Cambria and she was so relaxed and about ready to go to sleep! It was sweet!

We cherish these moments we get to see grandparents and so cool for the kids to get to know their great grandparents! My Grandpa also took a copy of his hand because he has the HUGEST (I know it's not a word...) hand ever...and I asked him if he could take a copy of it so I could have it to keep so I would always remember how BIG his hands were and I could show my kids when they get older and hopefully my grandkids someday! The boys thinks it's soo cool to have Great Grandpa's hand hanging on the fridge and they like to put their hand on it to see how big it is...and they like to show everybody..not like anybody really cares but it is special to us!
Needless to say all the kids were out the whole way home! It was a good day all around!
