So life is going well, I know we haven't blogged in a week now, life has been busy! We're just taking it one day at a time, 3 kids, that NEVER stop, and you think a cast on a 4 year old would slow us down! Ha! Not even! On Friday night Dan's sister, Jill and her hubby Nolan took the boys over night and our friends from church, the Williams watched Cambria for the evening so DAn and I could go out for dinner for his birthday and have a lil date night! The boys of course did really good for Auntie Jill and Uncle Nolan and had some fun moments there, and of course slept 12 hours- HELLO, why can't they do that at home? :) Cambria was a doll for the William's, they have 3 daughters of their own and we have been blessed by having their family in our lives! Their daughters are wonderful babysitters too! :0 ) So we had a nice dinner at Red Robin (our fav!) and then did a lil birthday shopping, and just had fun being together enjoying eachothers company. The next day we were able to sleep in somewhat, CAmbria at least slept till 8 a.m. and then her and I went to my cousin's baby shower with my mom, sister, and Hannah. After that we went to the outlets in Woodburn to do a lil shopping, then back to my parents where my aunt, uncle, grandparents, Melinda, David, and Dan and the kids met there to have pizza and cake for my aunt, uncle and Dan's birthday. A houseful, but always so much fun! So it was a full weekend! Sunday, of course we had church and then small group that evening which we are enjoying a lot! We miss our old small group, but change is good for all of us! And we still have our friendships with those that remain in the other small group! :) Monday, the usual routine in our life, and then Dan's brother Mike, Jill and Nolan came up and we all went out for pizza for dan's birthday. I wish I would have had my camera because all 8 of had to squish into a booth for 4 people...we probably looked pretty ridiculous...but we wanted to be altogether. It was a fun time, then came back to our house and played Wii for awhile. Dan's mom also got to fly to Oregon that evening, so we have been able to spend time with her this week too, which is always fun for the kids to see her too, since they only get to see her every 2 months. So all in all, our life is busy but we have somewhat of a routine that keeps us sane and running strong! Josiah's leg is doing fine, he gets around that's for sure. He now scoots all over the house on his bottom, he can get off and on the couch and the chairs at the table and bed. (Thanks to Jill when he was at their house he wanted something and I guess she had told him to scoot towards it and well, it's worked out quite well!) Even now at church at his Club Rocksalt and Sunday school class he scoots! He hasn't been in too much pain! We are just continuing to pray for a fast recovery! He's cast is VERY signed...you should have seen him last Wednesday night during youth group, what a lil man! He had at least 15 kids from the youth group around him signing it and giving him all kinds of attention! It was cute and sweet that they love him so much! Well, that's enough babbling for now, I know we don't have too much excitement going on but thought I might just share how busy and fun our lives can be with kids! :) Cambria with my dad, she was having sooo much fun! :)
