Peaking out...the SUNSHINE!

So finally our much needed sun has popped it's loveliness out...rosy cheeks, flip-flop lines, and playing in water is what has been happening around our house...AWW....LOVE these summer days! We, or at least I have been neeeding the sun lately...it hasn't shown its face pretty much the most of June, and if you live in Oregon you know what I mean!

Micah, Cami and myself have been trying to keep busy while Dan and Josiah went to Arizona on the mission's trip with our youth group and college group...they left last Thursday, so Friday we headed to the beach with Pam and Heather...but unfortunately I got a flat tire, thankfully it happened when I got to their house before we headed out! And thankfully it was fixable, thanks to AJ and Russ that helped me get it taken care of! So far, so good! :) We of course are missing Dan and 'Siah but know and have heard that things are going well in Arizona! Just praying for a safe return! Here are some happenings of our summer fun so far...

Wild girl...

Finally it was warm enough to get out Micah's new slip and slide from Dan's parents...of course it's Buzz and 3-d goggles came with it, so fun! The kids had a blast...Micah almost has the hang of it!

'Siah definitely knows how to go down the slip and slide! Good thing because Amanda and I weren't about to get on it and show them! Although that would have been pretty funny! I'd be afraid I would hurt myself though!

Friday the two kids and myself headed to the beach with Pam and Heather. Heather is one of our babysitters and we love their family, her two sister's were in Arizona on the missions trip! We had a wonderful time and the beach was beautiful!!

Saturday nite we had my family over for to celebrate, Micah, Melinda, and DAvid's bday's...although 'Si and Dan weren't there, we still had a fun time and enjoyed pizza and desserts!
