Here are a few pictures of our trip so far. It has been busy yet very relaxing. Praise God for family and friends back home that are taking such good care of our kids back home! Thanks everybody! When we arrived to Annapolis it was pretty cold...but no rain! Here is Dan and I on the "yard" at the Naval Academy; the Severn River behind us.

On the Naval Academy Yard

A picture of us with Dan's parents at Lincoln Financial Field. It is the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, but the Army/Navy game uses it often for their big game. Our seats were 13 rows up from the field! It was pretty cold at the game...low 30's...thankfully the sun was out and warmed us up a bit, but after being out in the cold sitting for more than 3 hours before the game begins a person tends to get a bit more chilled to the bone! We had a couple cups of hot cocoa to warm us up...too bad the last cup we had was like brown water and wasn't as tasty...oh well! It was fun and we are thankful we had blankets, and hand warmers.

All of the Midshipmen before their walk onto the field before the game

Dan's brother, Tim, is the one in the middle of the screen behind the big guy's shoulder, I feel bad for these guys because they don't get to wear all the big warm coats and scarves...instead these longer coats...bummer for them!

Dan and Tim before the game started

Navy's quarterback, Ricky Dobbs (the one with the ball), set a NCAA record on this run by scoring his 24th rushing touchdown on the season; the most ever by any quarterback. The previous record holder? Tim Tebow of Florida

This was a great hit (obviously) on the ensuing kickoff return. Normally you aren't supposed to be upside down unless you get hit really hard. One of Tim's friends in his company is the one who made the big hit. You can see his elbow hitting the upside down player's thigh.
And NAVY won...in case you didn't know! It was a VERY fun day..but tiring...we ended the day by getting back to Annapolis late, but still had enough energy to eat some sandwiches and play a round of Quiddler! We wanted to spend as much time with Tim before he headed back to the Academy on Sunday!

Yes, that's all very interesting, but did you find any geocaches at the stadium?!?!?!
