It may have been a RAINY weekend...but that didn't stop us from having some fun!! Josiah didn't have school on Friday so we hooked up with our friends' the Hansen family (minus their oldest son since he had school...bummer!) and headed out to the beach for the day for a little shopping and geocaching! It was pretty rainy on the way there and ended up being a beautiful day while we were there...sunny and blue sky! Found some amazing deals and the kids and dad's had fun geocaching while Jan, Micah and Cami and myself went shopping! Then ended with a late lunch and headed back home so I could go to a youth activity for our small group gals in highschool! We had a great time!
Just a lil bit of Cami...she is into moving the chair around the kitchen to get up on the counter, get things off the front of the fridge and stuff in the pantry...such a lil stinker, she is super mischievious!
For our highschool youth group we meet during the week in our home groups so we did an activity with the girls from our home group on Friday night...only half of the girls could come, but we still had a fun, and quite entertaining time! Here are the ladies singing HighSchool Musical songs for the Wii game "High School Musical Sing-it!" They were hilarious! Of course us leaders had to give it a try...I didn't do so great! Oh well!
Here is Hannah with the Bain's dog Chloe...Chloe kept getting really close to Hannah like she wanted to give her a kiss! :0 Cute!
We had the girls do a bake off...the end result "muffins" that were supposed to be cupcakes...so Kayla, Kimmie and Mark did the honors of being the taste testers and they all choose group #2, so Hannah and April were the winners! :)
Not so sure about giving them a taste..:)

Karen had all the ingredients in different bowls and they had to figure out how much of each ingredient was needed to use to make cupcakes...and frosting...they ended up tasting pretty good though...they did great!

Here are the beach pictures...Micah got the camera and was taking pics...this is Jan...we had to try to get 'in" the picture...leaning down to his level! Haha! Her and I can really shop it up! :)
Max and 'Siah...Max is a couple years older than 'Siah...fun lil guy he is! David his older brother had school...we missed you buddy! These guys are great with our kids! So fun!

Cami was super tired and starting to not feel so good...she actually fell asleep while we were eating...so here she is taking a short snooze. :)
Another one of her snoozing...she has been fighting a cold...found out yesterday she has fluid in her ears...so she is on medicine and is feeling soooo much better! Thank goodness! I am SO done with all this sickness going around!

Poor Cami...hope she's feeling better now that she got meds. Looks like fun times with the high schoolers.
That was a neat idea....the bake off. The girls looked like they were having alot of fun.
Dan and his geocaching....good that he found somebody that enjoys it too, besides his boys. :-)
