Story's and Birthday

It's been a couple weeks and I am feeling the pain of blogging...why is it such a chore...but then I am glad I can update family and friends that might not know what's been happening lately!  Lately the past couple of weeks have flown by...it's almost Thanksgiving, hard to believe!  Last week we had our first parent-teacher conference for 'Siah...that went well, I was a little nervous going in to it, but 'Si is doing great and having great behavior (thank goodness) and his teacher's really enjoy having him in their class!  WHEW!  :)  I have a couple stories to share with ya'll...

1st Story:
About a week and half ago Josiah had found a quarter and was carrying it around saying, "I need to give this to Mrs. Taylor (she's the teacher's assistant)!"
I finally asked him what he needed to give it to Mrs. Taylor for?
He replied, " because she told me if she ties my shoe for me I have to pay her a quarter."
I smiled knowing that she wasn't serious!  So this last week on Wednesday when he got home from school he walks in and tells me... "MOM, Mrs. Taylor told me she was just kidding about paying her a quarter!"  Like he couldn't believe it!
I asked him if she gave him a hug and he said, "Yes, she was laughing and gave me a hug, but NOT a kiss!"
TOO CUTE!!!

2nd Story: So at the conference his teachers had to retell the first story of course because they thought it was so cute!  And then his teacher proceeded to tell me another story that had happened that same day as the quarter story.  On Wed. I take his lunch to church with me and then Kelsie takes him and Ryder to school, so I guess he hadn't finished his lunch, so when he walked in the class with his brown bag he tossed his finished Capri Sun and then handed the bag to his teacher and said, "These are for the troops!"  She asked him what was in there  and he said, "Grapes!"  She told him, " Josiah I think these will get rotten by the time they get to the troops!"  :)  But she said he had the right intention and heart in giving!  LOL!
The reason he wanted to give them to the troops because they had been collecting things to send the troops packages for the holidays!

3rd:  Sayings from our 3 year old...
Micah: "Mom, can I have some dedo on?"
Mommy: "What's dedo Micah?"
Micah: "You know dedo that you put on your armpits!"
Mommy - laughing:  "Oh, you mean deoderant!"  :)

This lil man is also into Nerf dart guns and had gotten one recently in a Burger King kid's meal, and was so proud of it.  So he couldn't find the darts...of course and I am supposed to know where they are at...:)  He says, " Mommy I can't find my nerdits!"  Laughing I said, "Nerdits?"  And then he shows me what he meant...his NERF gun!  :)

4th:  Cami....almost hitting her terrible 2's...
This girl has LUNGS!  And can scream loudly just to tune out her big bros!

She also loves to antigonize them!  Take toys or clothes when they turn their backs or trying to get dressed, so she will grab the item that catches her eye and takes off running and laughing!  It's hilarious!  And of course I let it go on for awhile...:)

One more thing this little lady did...and yes she holds her own around her with those two boys...well, I was back in my bedroom and had just finished doing something, only to hear screaming and crying coming from the kitchen area that Micah and Cami were in...Josiah comes running up to me and says, 'Mom, Cami bit Micah's ear!"  I go to Micah who is crying in pain...I hold him, but am laughing at the same time, because I could only imagine what had been happening when I left the room for a MINUTE!  There was NO damage done to the ear, in case you were wondering!  So don't get on this little girl's bad side!  :)

Ok, so here are some pictures in case my stories were boring...:)

Hannah banana last night at my sister's house.  We all got to gether to celebrate my 29th bday...YIKES!  29...FOREVER!
My handsome Dad with Isaiah and Cami...this girlLOVES babies!  She wanted to hold him on her lap...that lasted only a bit because Isaiah is about the same size as her! :)  She had got to hold our new little friend Jameson (Amanda and AJ's) who is only almost 2 weeks old earlier that day...which she loved also..and didn't want to give him back!

Auntie Mels, Isaiah and myself...with my cake Mom made...:)  I usually don't get to celebrate on my bday because we always celebrate on Thanksgiving!  So it was fun to have a bday celebration on my bday!
Mels, Isaiah and myself.
Before we headed to my sister's house for dessert we went to Wallery's for pizza, I love their pizza...I had started to work on dinner, but after cleaning and doing laundry all day, I finally said forget it...let's go have pizza...and of course my family was in agreement!  Love my family they treat me so good!
Sunday Dan took me up to the Trasiberian Orchestra concert...which was AMAZING!  And 3 hours long!  The best concert ever!  We had a romantic dinner at Subway...:)  stopped and did a lil geocaching which is what Dan is doing below...it was FREEZING outside!  Glad he got some in though while we were in Portland!

It was a great birthday weekend!  Thanks to all who spoiled me and I am so truly blessed with wonderful family and friends!

Thanks for the stories. LOL! here in MD all by myself! LOL! I'm so glad Josiah's teachers appreciate his cuteness! He is truly a special kid:) I love Micah's cute words! And Cami...I guess she has to go through the terrible twos! We knew a little girl...pastor's daughter...who would bite!:) Third kid and her only defense! Not good in the nursery, tho! This too shall pass:)

I'll have to borrow your birthday pictures as mine turned yellow since I didn't have the flash on.
I liked Micah's dedo story - you hadn't told me that one.
Three little personalities and write down their sayings so you won't forget.
