So we officially have our first broken bone. Josiah broke his leg, we were at a friend's house for a birthday party and the kids were on the trampoline and Josiah came down on his leg wrong and we thought he just might have bummed it a lil bit, Heather one of the girls that was sitting next to him heard a pop sound. He was pretty upset..but he was also VERY tired. So when we got home we tried to get it jeans off to see if it was swollen, but he was in so much pain, so he finally fell asleep. When I got up from my short nap he was on Dan's lap still in pain so we finally got his jeans off and put shorts on to find his knee somewhat swollen. We decided we better take him to the Urgent Care. So Dan and Josiah took off to the Urgent Care and found out after x-rays that he has broken his Tibia (sp?) bone. So he has a nice bandage thing on his leg and we have to take him to the Orthopedics on Monday sometime to get a cast and see what they say. The Doctor told Dan he can't walk on it for 4-6 weeks...OH NO! It's a bummer...but accidents happen and we are thankful it wasn't anything worse. A trial that has now come up and God will help get us through it! We'll keep you all posted!

Hey Anna-
How are you going to keep this little guy from walking for so long???? Maybe Heather can come and entertain him sometime if you need a break...let us know!
Poor little guy! I'll be praying for him and your family throughout the "no walking" period. :)
Poor 'Siah! We're praying for a fast and full recovery for him! YOu know I'll be over lots to entertain both you and him! Lily will love it too! :) Hang in there friend!
Oh no! How will you keep a busy 4 year old off his feet? Let us know if we can help you. Take care!!!
Poor guy =( I hope he feels better soon!
Well, it's official...he's a real boy now that he's broken a bone! Make sure he gets the brightest color of a cast, and make sure he always carries a marker so people can sign it. Also, try and help him exercise his good leg. Not walking for that long looses muscle, and you want to make sure his good leg stays strong!
