Rockaway Beach, OR -8/17-8/19 with the Miller Family

Sunday, August 17th we took off to meet up with my sister, her husband and Hannah, my parents and my lil sister Melinda at a beach house at Rockaway Beach. Two years ago we went camping altogether and last year we didn't do anything and then this year had another lil getaway with the family. WE decided it'd be much easier to do a house instead of camping because of some of the lil ones. And a lot easier on the parents! So we spent the night Sunday and Monday there and had a lot of fun and new memories made! Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, but we still played on the beach and had a good time!

Here's the view from the house we stayed at, the famous "Twin Rocks". I believe. It's beautiful there!


Sunday evening was very nice though, even though it was a lil cloudy, so we took a nice walk on the beach for a lil while. Here's Gpa Wayne and 'Siah! Such sweet moments!

The BEAUTIFUL sunset! It was gorgeous! Looking at the beautiful sunset makes me in awe of how awesome God is and how beautiful His creation is! Ok, I know I said BEAUTIFUL a lot...but really truly how can a person not see how wonderful and awesome God is! Thank you Lord for blessing us with a beautiful state to live in! Even if it rains a lot! :)


After the beautiful sunset we went inside and Auntie Melinda arrived, so we got out a bunch of snacks, vegged and played a lil Wii...and some of read our books! And the kiddos went to bed! Here's 'Siah holding Cambria while Melinda was making something to eat. 'Si kept saying, "she's too heavy, I'm going to drop her!" Thank goodness he didn't!

Boy we must be really boring! :) Actually it was pretty late!
