We actually were at Rockaway Beach with my whole family for 'Siah's 4th birthday, so I am going to blog about his bday first and then the beach! Since we were at the beach 8/17-8/19. And his bday was on the 18th! Oh My goodness...it brings tears to my eyes when I think that 4 years ago we were in the hospital having our first lil one...and what a huge blessing that he was safe after a c-section! God has really protected our lil guy these last 4 years and continue to pray that He will continue to protect him all the rest of his life! We have been sooooo blessed with Josiah and what a wonderful little boy he's been! Yes we've had our trials and still do with him...he's stubborn at times and tests our patience, but we continue to lift him up to the Lord and pray that he will be a godly man someday that loves Christ and longs to follow Him daily! I love the way he just will be sitting in the back seat or sitting next to me, or wherever and will say to me, "Mom, I LOVE YOu!" Awww....it just melts my heart! And when he goes up to his brother and sister and gives them hugs and kisses! And Daddy too...it just amazes me how much he loves his us as his family! He's such a dear child! He loves his friends and talks about them nonstop! And yes I know he's OBSESSED with Star Wars, but it's so fun to watch him play and interact with his toys using his imagination! So I didn't get a picture of him with his cake, I know what an awful mom I am, it's because he didn't want to be in the picture when I made his cake at the party on Friday night. So maybe when we celebrate in September I will get a picture of him with a cake! :0) He did have a very fun birthday though, especially since we celebrated at the beach! How fun for him!
