Ok, here's the last of the pics! On Friday we woke up to a not so beautiful day...it was drizzly and cold...in the morning! But we decided to explore Fort Stevens.
Here's fun Auntie Jill and Cambria!
At Fort Stevens there was an old army truck thing that boys climbed in and pretended to drive! Lots to explore there!
We took a tour on another army truck around Ft. Stevens and learned all about it, quite interesting. I don't remember all the facts, so if you want to know more about it you can google it! :) It was soooo cold, but fun! Micah fell asleep on Auntie Jill...must been the warmness of sitting on her lap, and the loud truck humming him to sleep!
Uncle Tim and 'Si...brrrr...can you tell they were cold! Everybody else was smart and had tennis shoes on, but did I? NO...I brought flipflops only along...not very smart! But I thought it was going to be nice the whole time! oh well.
After Ft. Stevens we headed to Seaside and had lunch in a cute little cafe. It was delicious food! I hadn't been there since highschool and Dan had never been there before! We didn't have time to explore the town, because the kids were tired and Jill and I wanted to stop at the outlets...well only a few of the stores, there wasn't a very good selection there! Then Jill, Dan, I and the kids headed home! We all slept alot on the way home, except for Dan since he was driving of course! We had a great time with the fam!
