Ok, I know every day is a Crazy BUSY day for us...but today felt a little more busy! :) I'll start with yesterday (Friday)...first off I had to go grocery shopping...my least favorite thing to do..but at least I got to go by myself! Then I had gotten a Amish Friendship Bread start from my neighbor, Melissa and yesterday was the last day so I had to make it, so I did, it turned out great! I think the last one I had gotten forever ago from someone I either messed it up or threw it away! Anyways, then Dan's brother Mike came to get the tools from us so he could do some projects and that was around 5 when I was supposed to start the cinnamon rolls I was going to make for this morning before the Easter Egg hunt! Well, I had forgotten because I was busy trying to get dinner made and then after we ate it was 6:30 p.m. and I realized I hadn't started the rolls yet...sigh...so I started them late...not a huge deal...but here's the thing I was halfing the recipe because otherwise it made a lot of rolls and I didn't want that many...but I forgot I was halfing it when I got to the eggs...because I added 2 instead of 1. So as we were watching "I Am LEGEND" (GREAT MOVIE>..a lil freaky but great!) I kept checking the dough wondering why it was rising! Finally around 10 I think it was I realized I screwed up...so I called my mom...she gave me some tips..."throw it out and start over!" ...but I decided to just add the other ingredients to make it a big batch...wasn't sure if it'd work..but it did! :) YAH!! So I let the dough rise over night and woke up to the bowl over flowing in the oven with dough! At least it came off easy! Oh yah and then last night I made coffee cake because I was afraid my rolls were going to be awful and wouldn't work and I was going to take coffee cake to my friend's house for breakfast just because I was going to take the rolls but made coffee cake instead...sorry this probably is very confusing...oh well...my brain is on over load right now! So at least my coffee cake turned out good! So this morning after I delievered them coffee cake...we took off to the EAster Egg Hunt at our church...whew...a lot of people showed up, probably because it was a BEAUTIUFL day! I took Micah and Josiah went w/ DAn to his age group...oh yah and Cambria was in her Moby Wrap snuggled in on me! The kids had a blast! Here's a picture of Josiah with his buddy Tucker! The batteries quit working after that so we didn't get a picture of Micah...at least our neighbors had their camera! Lots of candy and eggs...then we were asking what the signifcance of Easter is...and he said, 'Eggs and candy"...we've been working on the true meaning! The other day Dan asked him who died on the cross and he said, "Grandpa and Grandma" Sorry guys! :) That was pretty funny...but we corrected him! Obviously! Now he knows it's Jesus that died on the cross for our sins and rose again on the 3rd day! :) He's really starting to grasp it! So after the hunt we went home had lunch and naps for the kids and Dan and I got going on cleaning up the outside and me in the garage...we can even park the Expedition in the garage now...we'll see how long that will last...:0 ) Then cleaned the inside and made my cinnamon rolls...notice the picture of them! And they are quite delicious I must say so myself! Micah and dan think so too...Josiah put his tongue on a piece of one and said, he didn't like them...he's sooo picky! Hopefully he'll grow out of it! So we got a TON done...and I'm exhausted ...now I just have to make 2 pans of scalloped potatoes and a salad for tomorrow because there will be 15 of us here for Easter! :) Dan wanted to host it this year and to also give my mom a break since she is always hosting the holidays at her house! So there is our day so far...we're exhausted and I'm NOT cooking dinner tonight...Dan is so that means we are ordering out! :) YAH! Ok, so I probably bored you all to death but at least you know how our day went and hopefully I'll never have to bake so much again for a long time! I'm signing off for now! Have a Happy Easter! HE HAS RISEN!!!!! We are so thankful!

I'm jealous! Those cinnamon rolls look yummy! Whew! What a day! Sounds like fun! Not sure if you did it on purpose..."He is risen!" ....rolls were risen...now there's a story for you! It's all about the rising! Thanks for all the cute tid-bits....even the Grandma and Grandpa dying on the cross...:) If he says that when he's ten, we'll worry! Love what you wrote! You crack me up :) And I'm going to eat more coffee cake in just a bit for my nighttime snack! Delicious! Yay for Micha sleeping all night-I didn't realize that! I'll pray he does that tonight too...just be patient-especially with Cambria.
