Oh where to begin...

I don't even know...so I'm going way back to July when we left for the Czech Republic for our missions trip! So off we go...

13 of us from our church (college age, highschoolers, and some adult leaders plus Josiah), headed to Seattle to catch our 9 hour flight to London, then had a 3 hour lay over til we got on our next 2 1/2 hour plane ride to Prague. When we arrived at Prague airport we had a 6 hour bus ride to the training facility! Czech is 9 hours ahead of us so we had a little bit of jet lag! We arrived at the training facility at 1 a.m. and were pooped! But thankful to be there!
And so our journey began for 17 days in the Czech Republic!

Here is our group! We had such unity...what an amazing group to serve with!!

Nicole and myself at the camp (she is an intern and was there all summer but is from Gresham, OR! How cool is that!!) Those are our tasty bazinki's lemonade (elderberry, mint and lemon and like a spritzer type in it! So delish!!)

Siah and Ashley - lots of card playing time for free time! Josiah became quite the whiz playing Dutch Blitz!!

Siah and myself at the top of a tower..we had a 7 mile hike and then climbed to the top of this! It was a beautiful view though!

The girls from our English class! We spent 3 1/2 hours in the morning teaching English to them, we had different themes each day...i.e. birthday theme, money, etc!

Josiah being in charge of the microphone! :)
He did so awesome being the youngest one there! He'd go strong all day long and crash all night, and would sleep 12 hours a night! (Now why can't he do that at home?)

At the end of our 7 day english camp we went to homestays and then to Prague to spend our last two nights there at a hotel and got to tour the city! Which is gorgeous!!
We are climbing a clock tower here!

Dan and Vilda (he's the youth pastor at the church we were helping with)

Ryan (another intern from the states)-- him and Si were good lil budds!

Charles Bridge...a very famous landmark! We took our Blazer jersey's so we could send a picture to the Blazers since they show pictures on tv of people that travel! :)

Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Prague!! Super delish!

Siah enjoying some reading time at our hotel one evening!!

17 days later we came back to these little people! So excited to see them, we missed them a LOT...well, Siah said he didn't, but I think he did! :) Dan's parents took Cambria and Micah to California for 10 days while we were gone and then my parents took over for the last few days! We are so thankful we got the opportunity to do this and are so SO THANKFUL for parents who are so willing and able to help us!!!! Thanks parents we love you!!

Cami and her new cup that she loves to drink her coffee and cream!

Siah and his cup

Micah and his! :)
Needless to say it was SUPER hard getting back to the right time zone...We would wake up at 3 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep, but would fall asleep at 7 or 8 at night! Took about a weekish to get back to normal!!

3 days after we got home from the Czech we headed to Redmond with our friends the Hansen family to spend a week there with them!
Here's Cami and Jan having toe painting time!
Micah wanted to help take off Cami's nail polish! :)
Hike day!
Dan and me at Steelhead falls!
Some water time!

We also enjoyed some time floating down at Tumalo STate park and enjoy lots of game playing with our friends! Super relaxing! After our week there with them, we headed for Idaho to stay at hotel our 1st night on the road, which we found an old car show when we stopped at a Wal-Mart in Idaho and somebody had made this "Mater" ...how cool!!!
Oh and Josiah turned 7 years old!! My baby is growing up...and growing bigger teeth!!LOL!! Gotta keep the tradition of breakfast in bed!!! Love you Josiah!!!

After staying in Idaho we headed to Yellowstone to spend the day there...we really needed 3-4 days there, but didn't have the time since after Yellowstone we headed to my parents in Montana to spend time with ithem!

We arrived in Lewistown, Montana late Saturday night, then Sunday spent the day at church, and swimming and driving around to see beautiful scenery!!

Went and saw the fish hatchery

Grandpa helping Micah clean his feet off!

On Monday it was super hot there, so my Mom took us to one of the biggest warm springs in the world...just out on a person's ranch...:) So we spent 2 of our days there, relaxing and just enjoying the water!!
My Mom...enjoying the water!

Siah and Cambria enjoying floating!

The warm springs! It's gorgeous there!

The kids did a lot of tree climbing there too!! They had amazing tree climbing trees!!

One night the boys did a lil star gazing!
We took some fun pictures...love this small little town they live in!!
Cami and her new haircut!

One evening we got to go to my parents friend's home to see/ride their horse!
Here is Gene talking to the kids about his horse Smoky.
My Dad and Cami...she was so excited to see the horse, but then when right next to it, didn't want anything to do with it! :)

She finally, reluctantly got on with me! I'm not super thrilled about horses...they kinda freak me out! :)
Dan loved riding the horse!
Josiah took a ride!
My grandpa who was also visiting my parents even got to take a ride!! He's 85! Go Grandpa!!

Cami helping brush Smoky
The boys kickin' it at the barn!

They have a pump on their well, so we also got to pump some water! The kids LOVED that too!!

Our last night we went to the frog pond and did a lil fishing!
The beautiful sun going down where we were fishing!

We caught a live one! And now it's in my freezer!
Dad cleaning the fish!

My grandpa and Cambria...he was feeding her icecream! So sweet!
Grandpa and Cami girl relaxing on the couch...our last night there!
We had such a wonderful time, and there are so many more pictures...but not enough time! The kids and us got some new experiences and really had a great time with our friends and family! So blessed!!
Tis the end of our summer and what a wonderful time it was!!New adventures and lots of memories!!

Thanks for sharing! So fun that your kiddos are big enough now to enjoy trips like that together. And I need to tell you- the pic of Cami in the tree is so pretty! You should find a place for it in your house somewhere!
