While Dan is away...

Dan left- Monday, July 26th to head to the Czech Republic with a group of 9 others from our church to go on a 17 day mission's trip! So while he was gone the kids and myself had to make ourselves busy! Here are just a few of the outings we went on...

Tues the 27th we headed up to Kalama, WA where we got invited to spend two nights at our friends' Lindsy's grandparents river home. Lindsy's husband is also on the Czech trip so with the 6 of our kids we headed up there to kill some time! The weather wasn't super warm which was a bummer, as we mom's really wanted to just lay on the sand and watch the kids! But we did take the kids on a raft up and down the river!

The gorgeous, huge home we got to stay in! I couldn't get the whole house in the picture...this is the back of it! There is a water fall across the river and that's what you heard all day and night...so soothing to go to sleep too!

Some smore's and it was only 10 a.m. in the morning...but when your kids wake up super early it was like a lunch time snack!

After we returned from Washington, my mom got free tickets to the Volcanoe's game so we headed to Keizer on Sunday night to go to that! Cami stayed at some friend's house since we only had 4 tickets! It was a beautiful day too!

Their momentos...that of course they never play with now. Look how empty those seats are...guess nobody goes to see the volcano's anymore! :)

Tues Aug.4th was National Neighborhood Night Out...so we had a bbq and the firetruck, Engine 7 and the police came.

Cami wouldn't get even near it, she was scare of it for some reason...

The police officer and duck they brought...and a few of the neighborhood kids! Look at Cami's face she despised the duck too...:)

Thursday 6th, 4 of us mom's, and our 11 kids (6 years and younger) altogether headed to the beach for the day! It was super warm and fun...but exhausting!

Friday august 7th- Swanson Cool Pool in Albany with Dan's sister Jill, her son Jace, Dan's Mom and the kids and me...
