My Mom drove us all up to the airport...not much room with 6 people, 3 carseats and 3 big suitcases...but we made it!
The kids so excited to see airplanes...
We arrived to Annapolis and headed to bed on Friday morning at 2:30 a.m. (East Coast time); then woke up at 10 a.m. to then get in the car and drive to Pennsylvania to spend the night with my cousin Denae and her husband Ben. We arrived to a scrumptious dinner and a fun time with them and their dog Wilbur. This is me and 2 of the kids with my cousin Denae after we had breakfast on Saturday morning. Ben wasn't able to join us. Thanks guys we had a wonderful time!
Denae and their dog Wilbur, although the boys for some reason kept calling him Grover. :)
Saturday morning we headed to my Aunt Lori, Uncle Butch and cousin Will's home. Then went to Will's baseball game. It poured...and well, it was fun to watch Will play and just visit with them.
Will- he's a great ball player!
Their home...although they are moving to a new home in a couple weeks...
Will and the boys... they had a great time together!
Saturday evening we headed back to Annapolis and then on Sunday went to church w/ Dan's parents and brother Tim then later that afternoon went to the Academy for the Superintendent's Luncheon. Mary from their church was a blessing and watched the kids so we didn't have to take them. Here is Dan, myself and Tim.
Tim w/ Mom and Dad
Micah modeling Tim's hat.
Monday we headed to a beautiful park nearby where the kids ran around and we sweated a LOT...as it has been quite humid and hot here!
Grandpa w/ his boys ;)
TUESDAY: Just our family headed to D.C. in the morning and spent the day at the zoo...which was free...awesome! But it was SUPER hot and humid...makes for a lovely time with kids...although they did quite well! :)
Panda
HUGE turtles...that are big enough adults could ride on them!
After the zoo we got back onto the Metro and headed to the Capitol Mall...and went to the Air and Space Museum.
WEDNESDAY: Dan's grandparents, Aunt and Uncle and Cousin, Brother Mike, Sister Jill and her husband Nolan and Jace, and Mark and Michelle all arrived Tuesday at different times...so on Wednesday we all headed to see the Blue Angels (which Dan posted pics and video on the post after this one!) It was AMAZING!!!!! The kids didn't love the loudness though! It was probably 90 degrees yesterday too! HOOOOOTTTT!
Here's Dan's grandparents w/ Cami! It was Grandma's bday that day too which was fun to celebrate her!

Cami sported her cheerleader outfit...which got lots of looks and smiles! :)
THURSDAY: Just our family headed to Great Falls in Virginia...another HOT day...highs in the 90's!
The boys...
Afterwards we went to Bethseda, Maryland and went to Georgetown Cupcake...we had heard they had amazing cupcakes...2.75 for each one...they were worth it...the kids enjoyed them too!
Me and my cupcake...behind is the shop...:)
It has been such an honor and priviledge to travel around and spend time with family! Like I said before I have the Ball still to post about and then the graduation is tomorrow! Don't forget to look at the post after this one as you can see more about the Blue Angels!
To be continued...
