Some of this and that...

First: HAPPY MOM'S DAY, a day late, I know, to both our Mom's in our lives and to all my friends that are mom's as well! Hope your day was relaxed and wonderful!

My family came over for a bbq last night and of course it had to rain...but it was still a wonderful time with family! My grandpa and younger sister mels and her b/f Andy joined us as well...but I didn't get the camera out til everybody was leaving. Oh well.

Saturday afternoon the kids, Dan and I headed to the River frontPark to play catch and spend time as a family, since we knew Sunday was going to be a busy day!
Micah getting ready to catch the football..

'Siah looking cool in Dad's sunglasses...this kid can through a wicked spiral! :)

Looking at the boat in the water...

Family Picture time! Wow everybody is looking! :)

The girls...we were waiting for the boys to finish playing catch...enjoyin the SUN!

Lil miss.

And some more pictures from a couple weeks ago that I forgot to post...and finally am getting around to it.

Smelling her blankie...

She's so sweet...

Heather, Micah, Josiah and Hannah
Our fun babysitters...they love our kids and we are blessed by
their family!

Heather gave Micah a mohawk after his bath and it stayed like this all night and the next day! :)

This past Friday night we got the priviledge of babysitting Jace our nephew,
he's 3 months old and a sweetheart!

Cami thought she would entertain him and read him a story. She's such
a little momma

Look at the pouty lip!
The kids "loving" on Jace...he wasn't exactly loving it at the moment though! Wonder why? :)

And we decided to move lil Misschief up to her big girl bed! YIKES!! A little scary for us...we
were thinking of keeping her in her crib til she was at least 6...but she is doing AWESOME
and when we were setting it up, she said, 'My princess bed" :) Her smile tells you she LOVES being a big girl!

Last weekend Dan and I both got to go to the 8th grade retreat in Eaglecrest! I usually don't get to go, so it was so fun since I had these 8th grade girls in my group for 2 years! We had a blast and got to stay in such a beautiful house provided by one of the family's at our church!
Here's just a couple pics...
The kids all hanging out...what they do best! :)

We hiked a 5 mile hike on Smith Rock...BEAUTIFUL day, a little windy though for my liking!

Dan and I at the top... we hiked up Misery Ridge Trail...it's called that for a reason! :)

I love it all, but especially Jace's pout! Way to capture that lower lip, and thanks for watching him!

Misery Ridge on Smith Rock - yes, I remember climbing that. Remember when we first moved over there, you all came over and climbed Misery Ridge and then went to a movie in the afternoon.
I never thought about it, but Josiah and Micah's smiles and mouthes are shaped alot like yours, Anna.
So neat that Cami could adjust so quickly to her "big girl" bed. She even has started talking more!

Also, thank you for hosting Mother's Day evening at your house. The bbq'd chicken, I think, was the best, but then I am more of a fan of bbq'd chicken than bbq'd ribs. :-) Thanks for doing that, Dan.
