So Josiah is officially in the 2nd month of school...and doing quite well...or so I gather from this ...
well, it's sort of hard to read (if you click on the picture it will show up bigger), but it is a certificate for "Student of the Month" for the month of September at his school. They pick a student from each grade to receive the award...and our lil man got it! So all those feelings of mine before school started, of anxiety and I wasn't sure if he was ready quite yet for Kindergarten , since he just turned 5 in August, those feelings disappeared...:) He must be doing just fine! :) He was so proud to get his award and a little pin that you can see on his shirt, which says, "Student of the month" he had to wear it to bed that night and on his shirt the next day too...then I took it off so we can put it somewhere and save it! :) Way to go 'Siah man! We love you and are so proud of you buddy! Other happenings of the kindergartner...the Jog-a-thon...remember those days folks of elementary school? And all those laps we HAD to run? It happened to be a BEAUTIFUL warm day this last Friday. Thankfully I put shorts and t-shirt on him since the weather had been a lot cooler the days prior. He ran 5 laps in the 20 minutes that they had to run! He did awesome! Minus the fact that at the beginning when the horn sounded to start running he turned and started running the wrong way...lol...it was pretty funny, but ended up being ahead of most of the kids in his group! Not sure what he was thinking! ;)
Notice 'Siah is in the "USNA" outfit...we had to do the Navy proud and sport there "wear!" That's for you Uncle Tim! :) Although I don't think running the wrong way would do them proud...:) haha!

Oh how sweet! You must be SO proud! Student of the Month, and in the first month of the school year. That is so awesome! Man he looks big! Time flies.

Yes, I remember those days all too well.....going to jog-a-thons, collecting money, helping, and watching.
Josiah - you did a great job running all those laps and we are so proud of you for being Student of the month. Keep up the good work!
