A little outing with the fam

Last night when Dan got home from work he suggested we should go bowling since we have no youth activities in the evening this week due to spring break! So we packed up the kids and took off to grab some oh so healthy dinner at Sonic, which the boys love it because we get to eat in the car and they get to be unbuckled and climb all over the place while waiting for dinner to come! Then we headed to Northgate Bowling Alley and met my parents, Carissa and her kiddos (her hubby was outta town) there to do a lil bowling! We had reserved a couple lanes, and of course had to have bumpers! The kids were soooo stinkin' excited, especially since it was their first time bowling! Josiah was super excited to because it was like "bowling on the Wii!" Too cute! It'd been awhile since my parents had even been bowling...like 20 years I think my dad said! But he still had the grace of a bowler! :)hehe!  We took a lot of pics...can you tell! :)

Hannah holding her bowling ball, trying to figure it all out! :)

Josiah "running" with the ball like adults, so he says!

My mom and Cambria having some fun giggle time!

The "Twins"  as some people call us...Carissa and myself...my lil sister Mels was not there with us so we are missing one of us! :)

The wee lil ones...

My dad and Cami...she was getting tired...and my Dad was too...until I told him to smile and look at the camera!

Mr. Isaiah and all his cuteness...don't you just want to kiss on those cheeks!  I love his cute lil expression in this picture!

My dad and lookin like a professional bowler.

Hannah Banana all so excited that she got pins down! She would jump up and down and say, "Yah Hannah!"  And clap her hands!  Too cute!
They had this metal bar thing that kids could use to help them since the ball was so heavy!  My family made fun of me and told me I should have used it too, since I had the 2nd to lowest score!  :(

Go Carissa!  Way to be like a bowler!
You've got skill Grandma! :)
Mighty Man Micah...super excited that he got a STRIKE!  Yup, that's right a STRIKE!  I didn't even get a strike! LAME ME!  But WAY To go Micah!  I wasn't a poor loser either, I just let it roll off my shoulder! :)  Next time though you all better WATCH OUT!  Because i am going to practice on Wii! :0) HA

Cami...and yes she has pigtails!  FUN!  Finally she has enough hair to pull up !  She was so fun, she would pretend like she was bowling, and then run around stamping her feet like she was dancin'!  :)  She's soooo fun! :)

Micah concentrating...

The boys...can you tell they aren't excited at all! :) They LOVED it!  They wanted to go again this morning...they asked all morning!  And talked about how much they loved it so much!  Guess we'll be doing that again!

My MAN! :)He did pretty good too! :)
Siah...what a pro!

OK...so here's the ending score...Josiah lost, then myself, Micah and then Dan...AWESOME!  Carissa and my parents were on the other lane next to us...their total score was 422 or something..higher than ours anyways! :)  Oh well!  It was all for fun!
And Cami again chillin' in the stroller...she was going EVERYWHERE so I decided to try to contain her for a bit! Thanks to animal cookies!
It was a fun night!  Thanks for joining up with us Carissa, kids and Mom and DAD!

Great pictures, Anna! What a fun night! Love the pigtails and her tennies! Do I see a little resemblance between cousins Isaiah and Micah???
