Hello from the Steiner household...a week of sickness is finally over for the most part, the kids are almost 100% better! My Mom was so sweet and brought us some turkey noodle soup, biscuits and pudding over, one of the days they were pretty sick...so that helped a LOT! Especially since the kids were so clingy! Here is Micah and her outside riding his bike. He wasn't as sick as the other two so she took him out for a lil fresh air! Thanks Mom!
Oh and by the way, Micah has now gone poopy on the potty! YAH!!! He is accomplished it all except staying dry each night...but that will come! Dan texted me Friday night and said he went all by himself without Dan even asking him or taking him! And he did again on Sunday at my parents house! Way to go Micah Man! We are so proud of you! Two down, 1 more kid to go!
So I had our women's retreat this weekend and it was at Newport Beach at the Agate Beach Inn, we had a wonderful speaker who spoke about thriving in our relationship with Christ! It was a great time, and really relaxing, especially since we don't have to cook, clean, and can hear, learn and be challenged from God's Word, hang out with friends, stay up VERY late, shop, and eat! :) It was sooo much fun! My friend and neighbor, Tracey also got to go with me, which was very fun to have her there too! On Saturday we found some AWESOME bargains for the kiddos...you should have seen all the bags we had, we did good! I wish I would have taken a picture of all of our stuff! :) Oh well!
Here are some pics I took from Saturday night, the only time I pulled out the camera...oh well. And I must apologize these pics are taken late in the evening so we all were really pretty tired...
My friend and neighbor Tracey, Barb Acker (my friend Amanda's mom-in-law), and friend Amanda. (L-R)

They had a purse exchange, this is the one Amanda got, or somebody gave to her...it was a goofy evening...lots of laughing!

Caley one of our junior girls from the highschool group, it was fun to have some of the highschool girls there...:) They even "decorated" or pranked our room, well Caley wasn't one of them, but Amanda MacCollin and Emily Brown did...I also didn't get a picture of that! Thankfully our roommates were all good sports...Kelsie, Lynn, and Tracey! They just plastic wrapped it all over, including our toilet and pulled those party popper things all over. We figured it out who it was very quickly...they were able to get in our room, thanks to our roommates next door whom we had an adjoining door with...Beth, Beth, Sara and Amanda!

Sam...being very silly...and wearing socks with her flip flops...very unfashionable...:)

Jessica another friend of mine, her daughter Joy and Cami are only a few weeks a part!ls! :)...looking so happy...this was late at night these pics were taken so most of look pretty tired!
It's fun to hear stories from some of the girls that work in the nursery with our kids, Mary told me about Cami and Joy are quite the little noise makers! It's not the boys, it is coming from the two lil girls :)

Caley again...these girls keep us young! :) I think she was just posing silly for the picture :)

Oh and one more picture from retreat...Charissa B. juggling the lime and lemons from the table centerpiece...she used to be one of our highschool girls in Cause, but is now married, and a youth pastor's wife herself! It was fun to see her and Alicia too!

IT was such a good weekend! And another important part was that I won one of the raffle drawings, which I have never won before, is the date night one, we got a gift certificate to Best Little Roadhouse, two movie tickets, and a babysitter by Mary! YAH!! Dan was pretty excited too...I'm sure we will be using it really soon!
And the awesome painting and pictures my wonderful hubby did while I was away this weekend! I did choose the paint on Friday and then he made the room beautiful! I was SOOOOO sick of the green it was and then he surprised me also with blowing up some pics of the kids and framed them! It looks sooooo great! Now on to finding a new bed comforter! Thanks Babe! I LOVE You!
The kids did really well for him, and thanks to my parents for letting them come spend the night at their house on Saturday night since they still weren't feeling too hot, it would have been hard for them to be in the nursery at 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. That is a LONG day! Thanks again Mom and Dad!

And our smiley lil girl...she's walking everywhere now...barely crawling anymore...kinda weird! Especially to think this is the last one that we will be watching take her first steps! Bitter-sweet! :)

I love the bedroom!!!! It looks very nice with the kids pics...By the way- your kids are growing up way too fast in my opinion!:) Nice pictures!!
Yea! For Micah! Congratulations!!!! Cami looks like she's running and so proud of herself! The bedroom looks very nice :) Way to go, Dan! It's the year of painting for y'all I half expected to see another of Micah's masterpieces while you were gone:) He mastered potty training instead and that's so great. Glad you had such a good time at your retreat and that everyone is better.
Such a fun time with you at retreat! Thanks for not putting up the really bad pictures of me :) I love your bedroom!! Way to go Dan! Can't wait to see it in person :)
I had soo much fun on the retreat! I'm so glad that I got to go! And that stinks that you didn't get a picture of our pranking, though I must admit that Amanda and I most definitely could have done better :( I guess well just have to wait until next year. Be prepared... :P
