Decorating the Tree...and a visit from Uncle Tim! 11/29/08

I'm a little behind in blogging lately...I lost my camera for a couple days...ended up finding it on top of the computer desk in our room, of course it was right in front of my eyes! Haha! Anyways, so we decorated our tree two days after Thanksgiving and of course Josiah was REALLY into it! Micah was sick that day...poor kid and just laid on the couch with a fever! :(  

So here is our sweet little Micah Man resting on the couch...while we were enjoying the festivities while he watched.

Josiah so excited to see all the ornaments, it was fun to show him all the ones that he got when he was a baby!  I let him put a lot of the ornaments on himself and didn't move them either!  He got EXTREMELY excited when we got to the Star Wars ornamnents...imagine that! :)  We've already had to glue Yoda's ear back on. 

I think I was concentrating on making it stay...and Siah along my side helping!

Josiah so excited about finishing the decorating of the tree...he was dying to get some presents under the tree, and was begging me to wrap some.  So I wrapped just a few, mostly Dan's since he left to go watch the Civil War game at some friend's house.  I was really hoping Josiah wouldn't tell Dan what we got him, and he didn't!  

Josiah and Daddy putting the tree on the top...for the first few days Josiah was very concerned that the star was crooked so we were fixing it a lot, he must have given up on that one because he hasn't said anything about it for the last few days! He does love pluggin in the lights every day though and won't go to sleep with out them on.  Must be something about laying in bed seeing the glow of the tree...sigh...I don't blame him! 

That evening I got the kids and I pizza and Uncle Tim and his girlfriend Catherine stopped by to visit since Tim was on Thanksgiving break to visit from the Naval Academy.  It was fun to see them both!  Josiah got a hold of the camera and took this lovely picture of Tim stuffing his mouth with pizza! 

Cambria pushing the wagon...she does so good walking behind and pushing it...now if she would just walk by herself!  That would be WONDERFUL!  ('Si took this picture too)

Catherine and Uncle Tim...she is a big Beaver fan since she goes to OSU.  Unfortunately we all know the results of that game!  Bummer!  Actually it doesn't really matter to me...but for the rest of those Beav fans out there I know it does!  Sorry I'm not very sympathic!

Sorry these pics got a lil out of sequence...oh well.  Cambria enjoying the tree and ornaments...I know what she was thinking when she got up from her nap and saw all the pretty.."awww something new to chew on!"   But she's actually done very well with not taking ornaments off of it or chewing on the presents!
