May has brought...rain. We have seen the sun peek it's head and tempt us a couple times, but we will be thankful when it stays and warms up a bit! So despite the rain, I felt the need to put some sunshine on our blog!
Josiah had his 1st grade performance...with all the 1st grade classes
They did a program on animals! Super cute!
Sang adorable songs!
Two Sunday's ago we ventured out for a family hike, attempted two different hikes; the 1st one didn't last long because it was super wet and then Micah fell on his behind getting wet. So we attempted another short one, and Micah tripped and fell on his hands and knees getting scraped up...so we just decided to play it safe and go to a couple different parks!
This is Avery Park in Corvallis, that has an awesome train the kids could play on!
There was a birthday party going on at the park and the people had a bubble machine going and didn't mind that our kids were enjoying the bubbles too...who can resist so many bubbles?? :)
After Avery Park we met up with my sis Mels and her b/f Andy at a different park and played some fetch with his dog and some baseball!
Now cmon' sunshine...bring it on, we are ready and waiting to take off our fleece coats and put on flip flops and tank tops!

Over at Connie's blog I said "one of the few" NOT the ONLY one!! I thought people would catch on to that...oops. I still regularly look (even if I don't comment) at those who are close to me! Silly, silly girl.;)
I'm ready for regular sun too! And YES, let's get together soon, even if just for a walk!

You didn't tell me about the park with the train, when you know my son loves them so much. :) I'll have to go check it out...he'd be in heaven. :) Cute pics of the kids. :)
