This mama has about had it with the grey skies and rain...as I sit here and blog I seem to hear the pitter-patter of the rain right now, I am thinking to myself...Pretty please with sugar on top...can the sun and warmth PLEASE come back VERY VERY SOON!!!
Saturday we decided to take an adventure with the kiddos...it's so fun to have the 2 out of 3 kids close to being able to handle a LONG day outing! We headed up to the Columbia Gorge and then to Multnomah Falls and did some hiking and of course, a little geocaching. It was perfect weather for an adventure and it wore the kiddos out!
Here is 'Siah at one of the falls we stopped at...at this one we then decided to hike to Multnomah falls only .5 miles away...but with children it seemed like 2 miles away! But they did great, minus one little minor injury on guess who? Micah! But Buzz Lightyear band-aid fixed that right up!

A side street that didn't have any traffic, so we let the little animals run wild a bit.
Also is was where we found a cache for Dan's
fizzy -challenge (don't ask me to explain what that is...because I do not know!).
A little more running...you think they would want to stop and rest...
Dan up in the trees looking for the cache...only to find it was on the other side of the street where he thought it was the first time...I think he just wanted to show off his climbing skills and show us what an adventure geo-caching is! :) Love ya Babe! :)
And the OH SO BRAVE wife up on top of Dan's shoulders getting a cache for him...and on the other side of the tree there was a drop off...so that just goes to show you how brave I was! :) And 'Siah took pictures!
The FAMILY- as you can see Cami had the best ride in the house...on Dad's back where she could rest and smell her beloved blankie!
Daddy and his lil lady, she was super tired at this point...because you know it's so tiring to be carried around and stuck in the backpack! :)

Mighty Micah Man...he kept wanting to stop and take pictures! :) Too cute!
He had to get one with his sis...although she wouldn't look at the camera because she kept wanting to look at his Buzz Band-Aid...(notice it on his wrist?)

Of course we had to end the day with grabbing some dinner...thankfully not McDonald's even though that was the vote from the two lil boys...Mommy got her way and we scored some yummy pizza at a pizza parlor in Portland on the way home !
Ahh...what a day...wonderful memories!

Looks like so much fun! Your kids are just so cute-especially as they take pictures! They are good at it too! Gotta love those family days together in the sunshine!
