Yesterday morning (Tues) turned out to be somewhat of a non busy day for us, so since it started out somewhat early, I bathed the kiddos, went to Wal-Mart and made it to the library a little after 10 a.m. to spend the morning there to kill some time before 'Siah went to school. Thinking we'd be there for an hour or so and hoping the kids would enjoy their time there for our little outing...well, we decided to check out some books first, while choosing books this is how a conversation went over with Micah...
Micah: "Mom I gotta go to the bathroom."
Me: "Ok, let's go, then we will come back and finish getting books!"
Micah: "Never mind, I don't need to now."
ONE minute later:
Micah: "Mom, I am peeing..."
Me: "YOUR DOING WHAT!" (In a non-yelling voice...but stressing those 3 words! along with a very very red face!)
I turned to look at him and if you have been to the library you know that they have carousel horses that are benches....he is standing on one of the benches and pants still up, peeing. Not just a little bit of pee... a LOT of pee! OMY GOODNESS, I couldn't believe it! Of course I don't have any extra clothes because he hasn't had an accident in public for a VERY long time! THANKFULLY I had wipes and the changing pad, so I am wiping it all up and putting it in the pocket of the changing pad! NASTY!
Micah is standing there saying, "Mom I am cold...I need new pants!"
Me: Too bad, I don't have any, you will have to wait til we get home!
Then I had to venture over, with my head hung down in humiliation to tell the librarian that my son had an accident and where...they were very nice about it!
We get the books checked out and he is walking like he just got off a horse...AWESOME!
What a day...gotta love it!

Oh no!! The title of your post is so clever! I'm so sorry that happened but at least the library people were nice to you about it! This is a story you can embarrass him with when he has a girlfriend :)
Oh my! How embarrassing, but funny too! I'm glad the librarian was nice about it...I'm sure its not the first time that has happened to them. I like the title too...very creative. :)
