Life without Mommy Part 9

Well, the inevitable has happened. No, the house didn't burn down, the dog didn't die, and the kids have all their limbs attached. Anna's flight from Mexico City to Houston was delayed and they missed their connecting flight to Portland. The airline was gracious to put them up in a hotel for the night, but that doesn't help three lil' kiddos who were looking forward to picking up Mommy at the airport tonight. Micah's face below sums up how we all feel. So how do you get three kids to stop thinking about the fact that they will have to wait another day to see Mommy? The same way you got them to forget that she had just left: Star wars, light sabers, and a snack. Bribery is the key to good parenting.
