Weekend and Our Sickies.

Our weekend was somewhat lazy, but still a little busy.  And unfortunately ended with 3 sick kids and hubby.  :(  Friday morning we had our Mom and Tot's Group, Amanda and I had to be there really early to set up...making it a VERY long day!  Saturday morning came and I had a meeting for our Women's Retreat taking place this weekend, and then Dan brought the kiddos for the race for Club Rock Salt...they had I think 12 Wii's there to play also.  Josiah's car is the Luke Skywalker head sticking up...I think he placed 3rd or 4th in most of the races!  Dan really enjoyed making the car for him and Josiah was very proud of his Star Wars Car!  Fun day!  Although the kids were really tired, probably because they weren't feeling well...

Sunday came and the kids and I stayed home due to their sicknesses.  Poor things!  Cami enjoyed feeding herself her yogurt...although she makes quite the mess...including in her hair! Thank goodness she doesn't have much so it's easy to wipe out! :) Notice her poor sick eyes, she REALLY doesn't feel good!

After Dan came home from church, Carissa and her kiddos came over to pick up Cami and myself to head down to Albany to celebrate our Grandma's 81st birthday!  She is such a special lady and we all love her dearly!  Happy Birthday Grandma, it was WONDERFUL to spend the afternoon with you!

Here is Hannah at my grandparents home.

Melinda and the baby dolls that my Grandma brought out for Cami and Hannah to play with!  Although it looks like they are staring at Mels!

My cousin Brandon whom we haven't seen in a LONG time, he had never seen/meet Cami except in pictures!  It's good to have you home Brandon!  Carissa and our Grandma!

My aunt Maribeth with baby Isaiah!  He was out!
It was a nice afternoon to spend down there!  Thanks for letting us come celebrate with you Grandma!

So after a VERY LONG night of fevers, throw up (from 'Siah- thankfully only once), and earaches, coughs, stuffed noses...Monday finally arrived and when 8 a.m. struck I was on the phone to our Dr's office to see about getting Cami and 'Siah in.  'Siah's ears were bothering him, fevers over 100 for all 3 kids, fever, gunky, watery eyes for Cami and Micah just a fever.  Whew! I was able to get the two in to see the PA and he prescribed eyedrops for Cami, and Amoxicillan for 'Siah...let's hope this all passes!  I'm so thankful for medicine and Dr's that can help us all out!  We are just praying that they all feel better soon!

This is another reason I knew Cami wasn't feeling well...she fell asleep outside the door of the bathroom while I was getting ready this morning!  Poor thing!
I hope I didn't gross too many of you out by my descriptions of the sicknesses...let's just say stay away from our home for now! :)  And I'm hoping I don't get it and that Dan won't get anything worse either!  I'm thankful that they aren't this sick all the time!

Hope the rest of the week goes smoothly! :) Happy Monday to you all!

Let's hope the worst is behind you! Even though she doesn't feel good I love the sleeping Cami photo. So precious! I pray for you every day and will pray for good health....and mommy to stay healthy!

I think some good homemade soup would be your ticket to feeling better! We'll pray that this all will pass and it doesn't hurt to get sick once in awhile. It builds up the immune system! :-)

Poor little kiddos! Those pictures really do show how sick they are! Praying for fast recoveries and for a good nights sleep for you and Dan-and of course that Super Mom would stay healthy!

It makes me sad when they are sick. Poor little kiddos. HOpefully you don't get sick from them! Praying they all get better soon, and you don't get it!
