Outing to the Keizer Fire Station

On Monday evening we took off to Keizer because the Life Flight Helicopter was going to land so the kids to look at it. David told us about it and they had a bunch of booths, and the kids could sit in the helicopter, fire trucks, and ambulances! It was so fun! Josiah loved the helicopter, but it was really loud...notice him covering his earS! Micah, Cami and I stayed in the garage to watch it.

He also got to take a picture in it...Micah didn't want to get in it...so we don't have a picture of him.

I thought this was a pretty cool picture that Dan took of the fire hats..notice the one that says, "Pfnister" on it. That would be David's. In case you don't know he is a volunteer firefighter!

Then the kids also got to sit in the ambulance. The paramedic was extremely nice and very patient with the kids and 'Siah got to look around.

And finally Micah got in it to take a picture also, I think only because Hannah was in it. And they are all looking at the camera...of course not smiling, but hey you take what you get!

We had a terrific time! We can't wait for their next open house in September, Uncle David told us that it's all about the fire trucks and it's pretty cool!

How fun to see all the cool things! Josiah is looking so much older! And he has the wisdom of being older! How much I remember when he didn't want his picture taken! Looks like a fun "cousin outing"!
