Camping Trip - 7/8/07 - 7/11/07

Here are a few pictures of our camping trip to Sunset Bay...The first picture is of 'Siah and Micah heading down the highway to go camping...we left after church so the boys would take a good nap! Josiah fell asleep pretty fast, Micah on the other hand thought it'd be more fun to pick on his brother...so he would keep poking him in his leg...which then JOsiah woke up and was quite upset with Micah! Micah thought it was very funny...Dan and I did too, but tried to stay stern with Micah so that he would stop picking on Josiah! It took a few minutes but finally Micah gave up and fell asleep also! It was a nice quiet 3 hour drive! They woke up when we were 1/2 hour away. We arrived, set up camp which is quite challenging with Josiah running around and Micah not too happy stuck in his play pen! Josiah helped Daddy start a fire up it was very chilly! We ended up going to bed quite early, still light out, but we were exhausted...Micah thought it'd be fun to play peek-a-boo in his play pen while we tried to fall asleep...he's such a funny lil guy! But then he gets Josiah all riled up! Fun times! WE all slept in till 8 ish the next morning...wow we never even do that at home!
The next day we enjoyed going to Shore Acres Gardens...it was beautiful! Then we hiked down to where the tide pools are when the tide goes out...we missed it but it was still fun to run around and enjoy God's creation! BUT it was like 50 degrees all day long, I was FREEZING! AT least we weren't back in Salem where it was in the high 90's though! We had a great time! To be continued...
