We actually celebrated micah's first birthday on 6/16/07 a few days before his real birthday which is 6/20. Since Dan was leaving for Arizona on the Mission's trip on the 21st and life was a little crazy that week! But Micah didn't seem to mind! Mama Steiner and Mommy made a ducky cake...we had a ducky party...thanks to our buddy Kari who let us use a mold we couldn't have done it w/out it! Mama really did all the work...and all the decorating because Mommy woke up with an AWFUL headache the day of the party which lasted ALL day! Pepsi and tylenol just wasn't working! It's that new baby inside of her! :) We really appreciated all of the work she did on the cake and the party was held at Mama and Pa Miller's house with all the family and that is appreciated as well! We had lots of fun, Micah didn't really seem to enjoy his cake that much...especially when Daddy smeared it on his chest...he got lots of fun new toys and clothes! Thanks for all that helped celebrate! We can't believe he's ONE already! WOW! He's not walking yet though! Hopefully soon because he is a BIG boy! And Mommy gets TIREED of carrying him around!
